Description
The Fresh Start Scholarship is open to students studying emergency management, environmental science, construction management, civil engineering, public safety, disaster preparedness, and related fields. You must be currently enrolled, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered for this award. An essay of between 500 and 700 words that answers the following prompt: "Describe a community you have seen impacted by a natural or man-made disaster, and explain how professionals in your field can help affected residents recover and rebuild more resiliently."
