Description

The Sandia Nat'l Lab Future of Research for Secure Energy and Earth Systems Internship is open to full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in science, engineering, or mathematics with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference may be given to electrical engineering students, those proficient with modern computer programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C/C++, etc.), and those who have experience with machine learning, data analysis, and simulation tools. As an intern, you will pursue your passion for earth sciences, infrastructure modernization, and energy security and technology while working side-by-side with world experts at the DOE's leading engineering R&D laboratory. These real-world experiences are supplemented with technical seminars and facility tours which give students unique insight into the broad range of engineering and scientific disciplines represented at Sandia. This internship is offered in Albuquerque, NM.
