The Cedars Sinai Diversity in Neuroscience Scholarship is available to upper-division undergraduate, graduate, and medical students who have a passion for neuroscience. To be eligible for this award, you should identify as belonging to an underrepresented group such as BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+, persons with disabilities, and more. Additionally, you must be 18 years of age or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selected students will spend a full year at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, gaining valuable hands - on experience in neurosciences and learning directly from a team of neuroscience innovators at a research laboratory. Program participants must arrange their own travel and living accommodations. Scholars will receive an annual salary commensurate with their education and research experience, up to $6,000 annually to offset the cost of housing, and a sign - on bonus up to $4,000 to offset the cost of relocating to Los Angeles.
