Description
The Mr. and Miss. Juneteenth GVL Scholarship is open to high school seniors or recent grads of an Upstate High School and/or in first year of a university. You must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be at least 17 years of age to be considered for this award. Additionally, you must submit a 500-word essay that explores the significance of Juneteenth, the ongoing issues African Americans face today, and potential solutions to address these challenges.
