Description
The Garza and Becan-McBride Phlebotomy Student Scholarship is open to students who have successfully completed at least 50 percent of their phlebotomy training by September 1st through one of the following program types: a NAACLS approved phlebotomy training program, a phlebotomy program approved by the California Department of Public Health, or a structured training program that meets the ASCP BOC structured training. To be considered for this award, you should be in good academic standing and/or show commitment to staying in the laboratory profession and be an active ASCP member (student membership is free). Selection is based on your resume/CV, a series of short personal essays, and a recommendation from a current academic or professional supervisor.
