Description
The Beat the Odds Scholarship is available to Oregon public high school seniors who have succeeded in spite of hardships such as poverty, disability, homelessness, personal tragedy, or systemic inequalities. To be eligible for this award, you should have at least a 3.0 GPA (students with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.9 may be considered if their transcript shows marked improvement in recent terms). Additionally, you must be a first generation college student, demonstrate financial need, and plan to enroll in a four-year accredited college/university within the United States.
