FEMA Honors Attorney Program
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
The FEMA Honors Attorney Program is available to third-year law students who are committed to public service. To be considered for this internship, you must be a U.S. citizen, have a distinguished academic record, have interest or experience in public service, and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and research skills. Additionally, you should demonstrate integrity, judgment, and professionalism. During the two-year rotational program in FEMA’s Office of Chief Counsel (OCC), honors attorneys work with various legal divisions within FEMA, gaining exposure to a broad range of substantive legal work as part of a dynamic, collaborative team supporting FEMA’s distinctive emergency management mission.
