The Alabama Aerospace High School Fellowship is available to high school students in Alabama who are between the ages of 15 and 17. To be considered for this program, you must be a U.S. citizen and interested in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-related careers. Students selected to participate as Alabama Aerospace Fellows will be given a front row seat to the amazing aerospace ecosystem across Alabama. The program includes a Virtual Symposium led by the Space Camp Institute and industry leaders and a residency experience based in Huntsville, AL. The residency brings fellows together to explore fundamental aerospace concepts while developing professional skills the workplace demands including personal communication skills, teamwork and leadership, gratitude and giving back, and building a professional network. Fellows will also visit academic institutions and leading aerospace facilities meeting the best and the brightest in Alabama’s aerospace workforce. They will see firsthand the exciting work done in their state. Fellows leave with a vision of their future in Alabama’s Aerospace.
