The Stim Bullitt Civil Courage Scholarship Essay Contest is open to high school seniors and college undergraduate students who live, work, or attend school in Seattle. You must have a library card issued by the Seattle Public Library to be eligible for this award. To enter, you must submit a 1500 - to 2000 - word essay describing an individual or group of individuals from the State of Washington who have demonstrated civic courage on an issue of importance to the community at great personal, political, or professional risk.
