The Bickel & Brewer Latino Institute for Human Rights Scholarship is available to students at New York University School of Law. You must demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to community service and interest in pursuing a career that promotes justice for the Latino community. Scholars must spend one summer (and are strongly encouraged to spend two summers) at a public interest organization. Scholars must spend two years post-graduation (or at the completion of a judicial clerkship) in public interest work. If a recipient fails to honor this post-graduate commitment, he or she must repay the scholarship.
