Description
The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Stone County Scholarship is open to residents of Stone County, Arkansas. You must be a single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, widowed) with primary physical custody of at least one minor child and be a high school graduate or equivalent. Also, you must be pursuing a vocationally oriented undergraduate course of study to ensure a better standard of living for your family, with the exception of students pursuing a master's degree in teaching. Additionally, you must qualify as a low-income individual at or near the poverty level, apply for a Pell Grant with proof of status, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.
