Description
The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Perry County is open to residents of Perry County, Arkansas. You must be a single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, widowed) with custody of at least one minor child under age 18 and be a high school graduate or GED recipient. You must also be pursuing an undergraduate course of study full or part time to ensure a better standard of living for your family. Applicants may not have already earned a baccalaureate degree, with the exception for candidates with the MA in teaching. Additionally, you must qualify as low income at or near the poverty level, be accepted into a qualifying program, and be a Pell Grant recipient to be eligible for this award.
