The Chateaubriand Fellowship is available to applicants who are currently working towards their Ph.D. or have completed it in the last three years. Research can last six to 12 months and will be performed in a French university, school of engineering or in a public or private laboratory. You may use existing contacts between your laboratory and a French research institution. You must be registered in a U.S. university or in a U.S. National Laboratory.
