Scholarship Spotlight: New York Education Foundation, $1,500
This is a national scholarship available to graduating high school seniors and first time college freshmen. Applicants must also be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident, plan on attending a two or four year college or university in the U.S., and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Awards range from $500-$1,500 and the final award amount will be based on the winning student’s academics and financial situation.
