If you’re a high school senior or college student dreaming of a career on the front lines, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation wants to help you get there. The 2026 scholarship program is now open, offering $5,000 awards to 15 students pursuing careers as first responders.
Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or a current college undergraduate.
Plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time firefighter, law enforcement, or emergency medical (paramedic/EMT) program.
Attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the U.S. for the entire upcoming academic year.
Intend to pursue a career as a firefighter, police officer, paramedic, or EMT.
Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or a current college undergraduate.
Have a minimum of six months of employment with Firehouse Subs as of the April 15, 2026, application deadline.
Award Amount: Recipients receive a one-time $5,000 award.
Study Level: Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Renewability: While the award is not automatically renewable, students are encouraged to reapply every year they meet the requirements.
Notification: Expect to hear back in late June 2026 via email.
