$2,500 Student Loan Forgiveness Scholarship

Deadline: 12/31/19
Available to: Ages 18+
Award Amount: $2,500 “Forgive and forget” may work when you spill queso on a sibling’s shirt, but when it comes to your student loan debt, it doesn’t always work that way. Unfortunately, most people won’t qualify for full student loan forgiveness. But that doesn’t mean it’s out of reach. Tell us how student loan payments have kept you from moving forward with your life and we just might give you $2,500 toward your student loan bill. The Scholarship can also be applied to Student Loan Debt so students who have already graduated or will graduate can apply to pay down their student loans with this scholarship should they win. December 2019 Scholarship

Deadline: 12/31/19
Available to: Ages 16+
Award Amount: Up to $5,000 Course Hero will post one question online each month and allow registered, eligible entrants up to 150 words to submit a response. Each month, Course Hero will select one winner with the best response from among all Contest entrants. This month’s Contest winner will receive a $5,000 Scholarship. Available to: Ages 16+
Award Amount: $1,000 Warm wishes, merry and bright, holly jolly – the holidays are all about happiness. But what is it about the holidays that make them so joyful? Our theory seems obvious: we’re happier during the holidays because we’re spending more time with our family and friends. Tell us about your favorite way to celebrate the holidays with the people you love for the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for school or student loan payments. O Wines Opportunity for Success Scholarship

Available to: High School Seniors – College Freshmen
Deadline: Varies
Award Amount: 8 awards of $5,000 The O Wines Opportunity for Success Scholarship is available to female high school seniors who plan to enroll full - time in a four - year undergraduate program. Prom Pics Contest
Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Juniors through High School Seniors
Award Amount: $250 The Prom Pics Contest is open to high school students. To be eligible, you must submit a high resolution photo from your prom event. Gold Medal Portfolio Award

Available to: High School Seniors – College Freshmen
Deadline: Varies
Award Amount: $100,000 The Gold Medal Portfolio Award is open to graduating high school seniors. You must submit a portfolio of eight distinct art or written works that exemplify originality, technical skill and personal voice in order to be considered for this award. Art portfolios must communicate a single cohesive idea or visual investigation and written portfolios must demonstrate versatility and diversity in writing technique and style. American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest

Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Freshmen through High School Seniors
Award Amount: Awards from $14,000 - $18,000
The National High School Oratorical Contest is open to junior high and high school students who are under the age of 20 and citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States. You must prepare an oration on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government. Each individual state winner certified into and participating in the first round of the national contest receives an additional $1,500 scholarship. Available to: Graduate Students, Year 1 through Year 5

Optimist International Oratorical Contest

Available To: Maximum Age 18 Years
Award Amount: $2,500
The Optimist International Oratorical Contest is open to students under the age of 19. To be considered for this award, you must prepare a 4 to 5 minute speech on the topic, "How My Passions Impact the World" to be presented at your local Optimist Club's contest.
