The J. Craig Heuss Munson-Williams Museum of Art Summer Diversity Internship is open to sophomore-level and above undergraduate students and to graduate students who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the museum field. To be considered for an internship, you must submit a letter of intent, resume, and two letters of recommendation from faculty. Preference may be given to students from ethnic and cultural backgrounds that are under-represented in museums and visual arts organizations, including individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, or Native American descent, and individuals from the Refugee community. As an intern, you may work in a variety of museum departments, including administration, collections care, education, exhibitions, development, marketing, or a combination of areas contributing to a broader experience. This six - eight week internship is offered in Utica, NY, over the summer.
