Social Work Internship - Legal Services for Children

The Social Work Internship is open to graduate students in the San Francisco Bay area who are pursuing a degree in social work. Internship duties include: working in interdisciplinary teams with LSC attorneys on cases involving foster care, legal guardianship, school discipline, special education, immigration and emancipation; providing direct clinical case management services to LSC clients, including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention and general advocacy; staffing the Warm Line (intake) about two to three times per month, including fielding referral calls from prospective clients.
