Description

The Thermo Fisher Scientific Microbiology Internship is open to upper-division undergraduate students pursuing a degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or related fields. To be considered for this role, you should have a proven track record of leadership, determination, an innovative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and effective communication. As an intern, you will support microbiological testing activities performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), approved procedures, and laboratory safety requirements. You will assist with routine microbiological testing of samples, such as bioburden, microbial enumeration, environmental monitoring, or method-support studies and will also perform calculations related to dilution factors, colony-forming units, and microbial recovery. This internship is offered in Middleton, WI.
