Airbus Long-Term Engineering Internship-PAID

Description

The Airbus Long-Term Engineering Internship is open to students currently pursuing a bachelor of science in aerospace/mechanical/civil engineering/software engineering/computer engineering/computer science degree. Curriculum exposure in airframe design, static analysis, mechanics of materials, and/or a CAD application is desired. To be considered for this role, you should possess excellent communication skills and a strong computer background, including MS Office application experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and Google Suite application experience (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail). As an intern, you will support aircraft structural design engineering activities. Activities can include design, static analysis and/or fatigue and damage tolerance analysis. Duties can include development of design data sets (3D modeling, 2D drafting, Bill of Material, Change Notes), supporting modifications or repair activities, and performing analyses for either metallic or composite aircraft components. This internship is offered in Wichita, KS.
