CU Anschutz BfitBwell Cancer Exercise Program Internship

Description

The CU Anschutz BfitBwell Cancer Exercise Program Internship is open to students pursuing a degree in an exercise science-related field. To be considered for this role, you should be proficient in a broad range of techniques used in exercise assessment (e.g. sphygmomanometer use, treadmill testing, circumference measurements, etc) and interested in working with clients with a broad range of needs and limitations. You should also be confident, personable and empathetic, self-motivated, and emotionally mature. Preference may be given to applicants who have past experience training individuals in a gym setting and/or have an ACSM/NASM/ACE certification or currently pursuing. As an intern, you will provide personalized exercise training for patients with cancer in order to improve overall health, survivorship, and quality of life. This internship is located in the Aurora/Denver, Colorado area, during the fall, spring, and summer.
