Description

The Kamin Science Center STEM Curriculum Internship is open to students with knowledge of STEM, familiarity with PA educational standards, strong communication skills, creative mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Lesson plan and/or curriculum writing experience and K-12 classroom or informal education experience is desired but not required. As an intern, you will assist in the development and reorganization of STEM program content. You may also assist members of the L&E team to plan and implement events and programming for Pre-K, school-age children, and their families. This may include assisting in the creation of STEM activity kits that will be supplied to early childhood classroom teachers, developing content for classroom programs and family night events, preparing and organizing program supplies, and assisting in implementation of programming.
