Description

The IBM Data Scientist Co-Op is open to students currently pursuing a quantitative degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field. Data Science, AI, ML, cognitive science, statistics or engineering majors are preferred. To be considered for this role, you should have familiarity with one or more scripting languages (Python preferred), have initiative and passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills while embracing a growth mindset, and have demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively through active listening. As an intern, you will work with visionaries across multiple industries to improve the hybrid cloud and AI journey for IBM clients. Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for clients is enabled by IBM's strategic partner ecosystem and robust technology platforms across the portfolio, including Software and Red Hat. In this role, you'll be encouraged to challenge the norm, investigate ideas outside of your role, and come up with creative solutions that result in ground-breaking impact for a wide network of clients. This co-op is offered in University Park, PA, as a hybrid position.
