Description

The Lockheed Martin Program Planning Internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, have exposure to giving presentations, and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Preference may be given to applicants with exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc), familiarity with Critical Path Methodology, advance Excel skills, and exposure to Monte Carlo simulations / Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Program Planner, performing the day-to-day activities in areas of program planning and scheduling. You will learn and operate industry software applications such as: Microsoft Project, Deltek Open Plan, Milestones Professional, and Schedule Risk Assessment tools to prepare applicable scheduling analysis and metrics. You will also attend key program meetings, gather program status, update schedules, analyze results, and employ critical thinking to mitigate and drive successful program performance. This role is offered in Goleta, CA.
