DevilsTower National Monument Interpretation Internship-PAID

Description

The DevilsTower National Monument Interpretation Internship is open to applicants 18 years of age and older who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or nationals. To be considered for this role, you should have a positive attitude, hold a valid driver's license and personal vehicle, be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, be willing to undergo background checks, and able to assist and engage with the public. As an intern, you will join a team of dedicated rangers working to help visitors appreciate, understand, and appropriately enjoy Devils Tower National Monument and the Black Hills. You'll expand your personal knowledge and skills by learning about the park and sharing this information with visitors. In this position, you will provide interpretive, orientation and safety information at the visitor center; learn how to design, develop, and present interpretive programs; and rove trails. The remaining responsibilities will be as directed by your supervisor. This internship is located in Wyoming and shared living accommodations are provided.
