The Savannah Bananas Media Relations Internship is open to students who are exceptionally organized, complete tasks urgently and efficiently, and pride themselves on maintaining high standards of excellence. While your organization and hospitality skills will aid you in developing relationships with other media personnel, a passion for supporting media to write and create content creation will help propel you to be an influential part of growing the Bananas presence all over the world. As an intern, you’ll play a part in providing a world-class experience to representatives from other media outlets. From meeting them upon their arrival at our events, to helping schedule out who they will be interviewing, you’ll be their go-to person while on site and in the days/weeks leading up to the event. Beyond execution, you’ll also be encouraged to think strategically by proactively identifying and connecting with media outlets ahead of time, developing storylines, and helping build momentum to drive growing interest and coverage for each game. You will also have the opportunity to travel to many World Tour events to capture footage and assist in the creation of all the stories and wild shenanigans. This full-season internship runs January - October.
