Description

The NPR Tiny Desk/Music and Visuals Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated proficiency in photography and video production as well as comprehensive knowledge of digital culture, pop trends, and the current music landscape. Applicants should also possess writing and editing capabilities and a keen awareness of emerging social media trends, particularly on TikTok. As an intern, you will have opportunity to create compelling multi-platform content, refine technical and editorial expertise, and engage with prominent editorial voices and industry tastemakers. You will support the production and filming of Tiny Desk concerts, produce high-caliber photography of Tiny Desk artists, and collaborate on the creation of multi-platform content for TikTok and various social media channels. You will also track and analyze current music trends to maintain content relevance and audience engagement. This internship is offered in Washington, DC, during the fall.
