SIA Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship-PAID

Description

The SIA Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship is open to applicants who wish to learn the security business and develop technical skills in cybersecurity. To be eligible for this program, you must be 16 years of age or older, hold a valid driver's license, be legally authorized to work in the U.S., and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program with or without reasonable accommodations, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of individual or others. During this apprenticeship, you will be placed with a competent security integration firm in your area for 12 months, and you'll "learn and earn" as you work on advanced security solutions projects for top-level clients. You will receive extensive training and build cyber skills, including: basic hardware and IT security principles, network security and troubleshooting, handling threats/attacks/vulnerabilities, governance/risk/compliance, device installation, system integration and testing, and employability skills.
