Mahi Pono Summer Internship-PAID

Description

The Mahi Pono Summer Internship is open to Maui students and young adults. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in diversified agriculture and learn valuable work skills across multiple areas of farm operations. During this six-week program, you will rotate through several departments to gain real-world agricultural experience. Training opportunities will include: irrigation systems and water management, plant propagation and nursery operations, harvest operations, packing and processing, and general farm labor and field operations. Interns will also participate in propagating plants for donations to families impacted by the Lahaina wildfires. This internship is designed to introduce participants to the many career pathways within Hawaii agriculture while helping build the next generation of local agricultural leaders.
