Good Morning America Production Internship-PAID

The Good Morning America Production Internship is open to junior and senior-level undergraduate students 18 and older who are majoring in journalism, communications, media studies, film/television or a related field. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have previous experience (academic or internship) in journalism (print and/or broadcast); television production, news and news media production; and/or television news script writing. You should also experience with multi-tasking in a constantly evolving work environment, effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects. Knowledge of and/or interest in GMA’s daily show is a plus. As an intern, you will support staff by answering phones, attending morning and afternoon editorial meetings, possibly booking guests, writing scripts, producing taped content, and performing other tasks as required. You will also research topics using a variety of sources, including video archives, the internet, library archives and others as needed and may assist with mail handling. This internship is offered in New York, NY, during the fall.
