Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Garden Project Internship - PAID

Description

The Garden Project Internship is open to high school students ages 15 to 19. Interns will build practical skills in sustainable agriculture, deepen their understanding of northern New Mexico’s cultural and ecological traditions and develop confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills. Intern duties may include participating in the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of seasonal crops using sustainable practices, assisting with soil preparation, learning and supporting traditional acequia irrigation methods and water conservation practices, documenting experiencies, engaging with visitors, and other duties as necessary.
