Share Our Strength Advocacy and Government Relations Internship

Description

The Share Our Strength Advocacy and Government Relations Internship is open to upper-division undergraduate students with an interest in non-profits, fundraising, events, marketing, culinary industry, hunger, nutrition, sales, and/or children. To be considered for this role, you should be organized, self-motivated and flexible. You should also possess strong communication, research, and computer skills. You should also have experience with political or issue campaigns, public policy change, and/or anti-hunger and anti-poverty advocacy. As an intern, you will contribute meaningfully to efforts that expand Share Our Strength's policy influence, deepen stakeholder relationships, and enhance the tools and resources that drive federal, state, and local public policy change. This internship is offered in the Washington, DC, area.
