The GE Aerospace High School Production Associate Co-Op is open to high school students 16 years of age and older who are currently enrolled in a Vocational Technical High School / CTE program. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have a 2.75 minimum GPA and have completed OSHA 10 Training. Additionally, you should have a strong interest in learning about manufacturing and assembly, have basic computer and communication skills, be a team player, and be able to lift 25 pounds. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment. You’ll assist with production activities, learn essential assembly and inspection techniques, and build valuable skills that will set you up for success in your future career. Specifically, you will assist with the manufacturing of gas turbine engine ignition systems, including ignition exciters, igniters and leads, as well as speed sensors and other electronic components. You will also help with product engineering, new product development and testing, and with the repair and overhaul of ignitions systems and speed sensors. This co-op is offered in Jacksonville, FL, during the fall.
