The GE Aerospace CNC Programmer Co-Op is open to rising junior-level undergraduate students who are majoring in engineering with at least a 3.0 GPA. To be considered for this role, you should possess strong communication, organizational, time management, and Microsoft Office skills. As an intern, you will work in a fast-paced, data-driven, manufacturing environment. Specifically, you will Develop 2 and 3-axis N/C processes for development hardware (i.e., machining programs, tooling,) as well as 4 and 5 axis N/C processes. You will develop CMM programs for inspection of development hardware, contribute to process improvement efforts on mature hardware, set up and operation of machine tool equipment (both N/C and standard-types to support development/production cell activities), and perform in-process dimensional checks. You will also troubleshoot process issues, create development/production planning and support revisions of production planning as appropriate for process changes, and work with blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce development hardware. This co-op is located in Lynn, MA, and offered during the fall semester.
