The Banfield Pet Hospital Veterinary Externship is open to students enrolled in an accredited veterinary medicine program and authorized to work in the U.S. As an extern, you will work with a coach to provide wellness care, perform exams, practice surgical skills, and manage cases in a small animal practice. Gain experience and see our commitment to quality care firsthand. Externships last two to three weeks, with flexibility for up to eight weeks. Schedules include days, evenings, and weekends.
