Description

The Southwest Airlines High School Internship is open to current high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the Dallas, Texas, area who are at least 16 years of age. To be considered for this program, you should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and reliable transportation to the corporate campus in Dallas. Strong candidates will have classroom experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team or individually, and involvement in extracurricular activities. Through this hands-on internship, you will gain insight into the world of work, emphasizes the importance of education, and opportunities beyond a diploma or degree. Areas of focus include: flight operations, people (human resources), technology, or technical operations.
