The APAPA Internship Program is open to high school and college students interested in public service careers. To be considered for this opportunity, you must submit your resume and answer a series of short-essay questions relating to APAPA's mission and your goals. The APAPA Internship Program is mission focused to advance the next generation of leaders by providing professional mentoring and leadership development workshops in partnership with community and industry leaders in the public and private sectors. Internship placements are made in the offices of hosting legislators and public officials to promote civic engagement with the goal of fostering future public service leaders. This eight-ten week program integrates professional development workshops and seminars, with public service experience. Students from across the country will have the opportunity to learn from community leaders, public officials, and industry professionals.
