Description

The Jackson Family Wines Viticulture and Winemaking Internship is open to candidates with knowledge of viticulture and related areas including plant and vine physiology and the winemaking process. To be considered for this role, you should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, possess strong computer skills, be able to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. As an intern, you will gain vineyard and cellar experience, including: data collection for yield estimation, plant tissue and soil sampling, keeping phenology records, assist with collecting maturity samples, vineyard reporting, red fermentation management, additions, cellar work, barrel work, and assisting with receiving fruit. This internship is offered in Oakville, CA, during the summer.
