Description

The Aramark Environmental Sustainability Internship is open to candidates actively pursuing a master’s degree in any field of study. A major in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering is preferred. As an intern, you will collaborate with our energy manager and various teams to drive sustainability initiatives and make a difference in Yosemite. While the position is remote, regular site visits will be required to support projects and programs, providing you with hands-on experience in the field. You will support data collection and monitoring efforts, including utility consumption, through ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, EnergyCAP, and similar monitoring systems. You will partner with the energy manager and data management team to help identify energy conservation measures and opportunities. You will support the design, installation, and overall project management of electrical and water submeters across the YH properties in the park. You will also drive conservation practices through education initiatives targeted at both YH staff and guests and collaborate with the energy manager to support a variety of energy efficiency projects, including infrastructure and mechanical equipment improvements.
