Summer Public Safety Internship - PAID

Description

The Summer Public Safety Internship is open to high school graduates who are between the ages of 17 and 25. You must be interested in pursuing a career in firefighting or emergency telecommunications. Participants ages 17–21 can pursue the firefighting track, and participants ages 17–25 can pursue the emergency communications track. Interns will explore their chosen careers through a balance of classroom and hands-on learning. Classroom activities will focus on life skills, decision making, leadership development, and team building. Specific training will provide an overview of the basic skills required for firefighting and emergency telecommunications.
