Description
The Space Vandenberg Internship is open to full-time undergraduate students from Cal Poly-SLO, regional Community Colleges, and UC Santa Barbara. To be eligible for this opportunity, must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age, studying a STEM field, be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, and have completed at least one year of calculus and 12 semester or 18 quarter STEM college units. As an intern, you will explore civilian career pathways at Vandenberg Space Force Base during an eight-week program. You will gain technical and professional skills relevant to current workforce demands, collaborate on projects that build the Spaceport of the Future, and earn a U.S. Interim Security Clearance opening doors to Federal and Defense career paths.
