Description

The Rocket Lab Space Operations Internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or a related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, at least three months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable), and be proficient in Python, Linux, and Git. As a intern, you will support Rocket Lab’s growing fleet of spacecraft. You will gain hands-on experience in spacecraft software development and operations while contributing to the constellation-level missions and diverse payloads ranging from LEO science to interplanetary exploration. You will work with modern software practices to improve operations and mission readiness and support the global Spacecraft Operations team that are responsible for maintaining the health and safety of Rocket Lab’s spacecrafts and ensuring that mission objectives are met. This internship is offered in Long Beach, CA.
