The Smithsonian American Woman's History Museum Administration Internship is open to students 18 year of age and older who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. To be considered for this role, you should be majoring in museum/arts administration, business, accounting, pre-law, policy, finance, or a related field. Additionally, you should have proficiency in Excel and SharePoint, the ability to work with numbers and organize data, an interest in policy research, be detail-oriented, and passionate about nonprofit cultural institutions. As an intern, you will gain a unique perspective of the research, planning, and management efforts that go into building a museum’s operational infrastructure. You will learn how funding, staffing, policy compliance, technology systems, and asset management intersect to ensure we maintain the public’s trust. This internship is offered in Washington, DC.
