The Smithsonian Woman's History Museum Digital Community Engagement Internship is open to students 18 year of age and older who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. To be considered for this role, you should have coursework in American and/or women’s history, experience with public programming, and interest in museums or digital experience design. As an intern, you will have the chance to design innovative programs that empower, excite, and educate audiences everywhere about the future of women’s history. You will contribute to projects such as We Do Declare: Women’s Voices on Independence, which explores women’s pursuit of independence through the lens of economic power, and the Discoverability Lab, which explores how new tools and approaches can help make women’s history more discoverable online.
