Description

The Kauffman Foundation Research Internship is open to students residing in the Kansas City, MO, metropolitan area. Pursuit of a degree involving research, evaluation, assessment, or conducting, designing, commissioning or managing social science research or evaluations is preferred but not required. As an intern, you will provide entry-level evaluation advocacy initiatives support, under the supervision of professional staff, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the foundation. You will conduct literature reviews and desk research to synthesize secondary sources, historical trends, and existing documentation on topics related to equitable economic mobility. You will also produce written research outputs including research memos, annotated bibliographies, and synthesis documents that support future original research initiatives. Interns receive ongoing mentorship and participate in a capstone project.
