The National Trust for Historic Preservation Law Internship is open to second- and third-year law students, with a demonstrated interest in historic preservation. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess strong writing, communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and Microsoft Office skills. As an intern, you will gain experience under the mentorship of respected legal professionals, in an educational setting at one of the nation’s leading arts and cultural and non-profit advocacy organizations. You will also have the opportunity to participate in periodic staff educational programming, as well as staff and off-site meetings that provide insight into the professional workings of a large non-profit and legal department.
