The Electric Mobility - Power Electronics Intership is available to students who are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States. As an intern, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher, have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a junior, be majoring in Electrical Engineering or related fields, have experience in power electronics, have the ability to develop simulation and analytical models to serve as preliminary verification of novel topologies and control schemes used in EV charging application and be a passionate engineer with clear communication skills. Intern duties may include scouting of emerging wideband gap semiconductor materials and devices, conduct simulation and analytical studies of optimizing wireless charging architectures for performance and integration leveraging novel power and other duties as necessary. Prior BMW Group experience applicable to international J1 students only. This internship is located in Mountain View, CA.
