CGA/USGA P.J. Boatwright Tournaments Internship-PAID

Description

The CGA/USGA P.J. Boatwright Tournaments Internship is available to students with a background in golf and interest in golf administration as a career. To be considered for this role, you should live near or be able to commute to CGA headquarters for the duration of the internship and work a flexible schedule. You should also have the ability to lift equipment, spend extended periods of time in extreme outdoor conditions, be self-motivated and personable, possess a strong work ethic, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. As an intern, you will assist with day-of tournament operations for CGA Championships and qualifiers, USGA Qualifiers, and CGA junior events (set-up, starting, on-course Rules officiating, scoring, equipment management, etc.). You will perform pre and post tournament tasks (course set-up, starting times, course marking, printing, points lists, results submission, etc.). Other duties include assisting communications team with capturing on-site tournament content as needed and assisting with CGA programs and member programs (Golf in Schools, clinics, etc.) as needed. This internship is offered in Greenwood Village, CO, for a duration of seven months from March to October.
