Geospatial Data Science Internship-PAID

Description

The Geospatial Data Science Internship is available to students 21 years of age and older who are currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a bachelor's degree or master's degree in the school of computer science, school of engineering, agricultural sciences, life science, or natural resources. To be considered for this role, you should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. As an intern, you will develop and apply GIS and remote sensing solutions for advancing vineyard management and grape production practices. Assigned tasks include utilizing machine learning techniques to monitor crop health, disease detection, yield prediction, and vine water status. You will also learn how GIS is applied to wine grape production across a wide-range of California production regions, grape varieties, and growing practices. This internship is offered in Modesto, CA.
