Description
The KTLM News Intern is available to sophomore students or above in pursuit of an Associates, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an accredited institution. You must be bilingual in Spanish, be authorized to work in the United States, have attention to detail, have excellent computer skills and have the ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment, often under tight deadline pressures in order to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will participate in daily planning, researching, newsgathering, logging, writing and editing, learn editorial and technical aspects of news gathering, handle daily office administration functions and assist on the assignment desk, create individual special project opportunities and other duties as necessary. Internship is on-site in McAllen, Texas.
